When I was in high school, I sat and stared at this poster hanging in my English teacher's classroom. It was a hot air balloon fixed against a deep blue sky... and beneath the balloon were the words - "Your attitude determines your altitude."
Attitude is defined as a settled way of thinking or feeling about someone or something. And it is our actions or moods which determine that attitude.
The Key Verse:
"Whatever happens, conduct yourselves in a manner worthy of the gospel of Christ” (Philippians 1:27)
THE TAKE AWAY:
- Your attitude will attract the very thing you expect
- Others don't set your attitude, you choose your attitude
- If we want more out of our faith, we should expect more out of our faith.
How has "Attitude" shaped the situations and life around you? Do you allow the attitude of others to shape how you feel?
