“Watch out for false prophets. They come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ferocious wolves. By their fruit you will recognize them. Do people pick grapes from thornbushes, or figs from thistles? Likewise, every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit.
~ Matthew 7: 15-17 (NIV)
The last thing you want to be is a false prophet... unaware! If your words say you love God, but the way you act and deal with others isn't very Christlike... you are walking a thin line. Check yourself.
At the close of each day, take a look back at your actions, words, heart....check the fruit left behind. Is it ripe and nourishing? Pray for God to keep your actions in line with your lips.
So you messed up a few things? God forgives. Strive to get it right the next day.
