Hey Bill! Keep praying my friend. Oh yeah, we've got shirts! If you are using An Android device, the "Camp Store" link is in the menu. Will take you straight to Amazon to get the shirt. If you are using iPhone, we are waiting on Apple to clear an update for that link to show up. In the meantime, you can visit in your browser - it will open the updated app on any device, even a desktop computer. Look for the "Camp Store" link. Thanks for representing!!

Jonah: Staying calm in a crisis.

In this month's video motovotional, we are on the boat with Jonah. He's frustrated with God and sailing in the opposite direction of what God asked him to do.  Storms rage down on Jonah's boat. The crew of unsuspecting sailors panic as the sea slams against the boat and threaten their lives.  Meanwhile, Jonah is asleep. The crew is losing their minds.

The scripture comes from Jonah 1:14-15

Then they cried out to the Lord, “Please, Lord, do not let us die for taking this man’s life. Do not hold us accountable for killing an innocent man, for you, Lord, have done as you pleased.” 15 Then they took Jonah and threw him overboard, and the raging sea grew calm. (NIV)

When life around us becomes hard and overwhelming, do we remain calm or do we panic? Our decisions are affected by our training.  Jonah was trained to rely upon God, he was calm. The sailors were trained to rely upon themselves, they were a wreck.  This is why training ourselves in God's commands leads us through the storms that blow into our life.

  • In this part of Jonah's story, do you identify more with Jonah or the sailors. Why do you think that is?
  • Does drama seem to find you? Does it impact your decisions in the moment of crisis?
  • List a few ways you can improve your faith training so you can remain aware of God all around you.

Look for a new VIDEO MOTOVOTION each month!

Hey there!  I'm Greg Arnold, lead men's minister here on the Live Bold app.  Thanks for joining the surge of Christian men around the world who are connecting and joining!  As of this writing we are near 10,000 members who are spread across 6 continents in over 150 countries. Glory be to God!

My goal is to serve you, encourage you, and motivate you to take huge, bold steps in life with God leading the way.  Each day, I will strive to provide you with a verse and a word of encouragement to live bold and a regular Video Motivotional.  The rest is up to you.  I'll do my part if you will do your part... and engage!

1st Time here?  The Daily Kickstart is a habit you should embrace.

Would you do me a favor? Rate and leave a review for the app when you get a chance? That would be really helpful for me and other guys looking for an app like this.

The more ratings we have, the easier we are to find in the app stores.  Ratings help other guys who are searching for an app for Christian Men.  I'm not asking for a bogus review... but a real one.  1 star or 5 stars... it's your call.  Each rating and review helps other guys understand what they will get inside.  Naturally... if you have a poor experience, contact support first... maybe your issues can be quickly resolved!

Drop a comment below and let us know you are here. Then engage in the comments and the prayer wall.

The goal is to have the daily encouragement posted and ready to go live by Midnight Central U.S. Time.  Don't worry about starting at Day #1... just pick up and keep up. Each day corresponds to the day of the year.  Leave a comment or a prayer for the countless men scrolling and reading. This is your way of joining the ministry effort.

As always... the app is 100% free for life.  It's work, man... but it's joy filled labor.
