Heavenly Almighty Father, I humbly approach Your throne of of conquering the evil surrounding us. Father I can put my confidence in the resurrection of Jesus Christ, knowing that He has crushed Satan's stronghold on me. I can put my trust in Your love for me and nothing can separate me Your grace and mercy, and am worthy of Your hedge of protection. may my life reflect the Love You have for me, and live a life worthy of the sacrifice Christ made for my sins. Amen. All those the Father gives me will come to me, and whoever comes to me I will never drive away. For I have come down from heaven not to do my will but to do the will of him who sent me. And this is the will of him who sent me, that I shall lose none of all those he has given me, but raise them up at the last day. For my Father’s will is that everyone who looks to the Son and believes in him shall have eternal life, and I will raise them up at the last day.”

Grateful for a God who shields me from things known and unknown and who strengthens me to return to the field over and over again.

Heavenly Father, we humbly come to the throne of grace to thank You for always being there for us. When we are covered with our sins, and we confess to You, You turn on the shower and wash out sins away with the blood of Jesus. You Father are our tower and our strength. Praying in the name of Jesus. Amen.

When Christ brings his cross, he brings his presence; and where he is, none is desolate, and there is no room for despair. As he knows his own, so he knows how to comfort them, using sometimes the very grief itself, and straining it to a sweetness of peace unattainable by those ignorant of sorrow. –Elizabeth Barrett Browning (1806-1861)

DAY 154: Accepting God’s Protection

The name of the Lord is a fortified tower; the righteous run to it and are safe.  Proverbs 18:10

God covers your blindside, conquers your fears, and shields you from the hate that evil is trying to pour upon you.

Jesus Christ has fought back hell so you can live abundantly in God's spirit right now.

No matter the mistakes you may have made, there is nothing you can do to make God love you less. You are worthy of His defense and protection.

Accept it. You are safe.
