Almighty God in Heaven! Strengthen my Faith and Grant me the resilience to defend myself and others against the wikedness and snares of the devil. Let me be ever watchful of temptation and sin. Protect my heart with the shield of Your Holy Spirit. Father, Your word brings light to the darkness and hope to the world. We are always in battle, Lord and only through your scripture can we truly know the rules of engagement. Keep me safe, Father, that I may live to fight another day to serve your will.

Loving and Giving Father, we come to You today to thank You for the Full Armor You provide us with. Let us use it to repeal the fiery darts cast by the evil one. We are surrounded by darkness Father, but with our Armor and the guidance of the Holy Spirit we can fight evil. Let us continue to strive to be the men You designed us to be, and humbly give all the glory to you. Praying in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Heavenly Father, Almighty God, Deliverer from sin and bondage. how I am humbled by Your amazing grace, I approach Your throne today to be of service. Lord Jesus, my Field General in this fight, I humbly serve You. I have been in training to defend myself against the devils schemes. give me the strength of a mighty warrior to don the spiritual armor of God. The belt of truth I study everyday, the breastplate of righteousness is my obedience to worship one Lord in my life. The shield of faith that I use to extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one, is needed for my salvation for the hope I have in You Jesus. The helmet of salvation, the belief and trust in Jesus repenting of my sins and disobedience and receiving the sacrifice Christ made for my sins. help me to lift and wield the sword of the Spirit, the Word of God, and it is a double edged sword, to cut the sin and disobedience from my life to live and serve You Lord. and pray continually. Amen.

DAY 146: Stand Firm

...be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes. Ephesians 6:10-11

Feeling under pressure? Situations seem unwinnable? Because Jesus Christ weakened and released the grip of evil - we can be coquerors!  Suit up and attack life with God's strength.

TODAY:  Find 60 seconds of silence.  Think about putting on your armor one piece at a time.

Stay rooted in God's truth, strive to do what is right, remember your salvation, and defend your faith with the Gospel.  Then ask God to supply your strength to take on your challenges.
