This hits home gents. Thanks for the inspiration, as all too often we realize we stumbled far too long after the damage of our sin has run its course. Our words are like the bullet fired from a gun...once we send it, we cannot pull it back. I pray Heavenly Father you send your Holy Spirit to give us the wisdom to use our voice for your Holy purpose and intercept our sin before we speak it. Lord you know our hearts, please forgive us for our stupidity in using our lips too sharply towards our beloved brothers and sisters. Thank you for letting me know that I can still be forgiven. You are Almighty and merciful, Lord over all. With all your power and might, you still love us despite ourselves. Praise God, that only He can show us the way to forgive ourselves only and always through Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior, Amen.

Loving God, we humbly come to the throne of grace to thank You for forgiving our sins. While being a follower of You is our greatest calling, many times we fall. We are so blessed to have a Father that forgives our sins when we fall and showers us with Your grace. Empower us to confess our sins and receive Your non ending grace. Let us be the men You designed us to be, and always give the glory to You. Praying in the name of forgiveness, Jesus Christ. Amen.

Heavenly Father, I humbly approach Your throne of everlasting Grace and Mercy. Father forgive me for my many sins, especially the sin of gossip, slander, white lies, tearing others down with my words. From the same mouth I praise Your Holy Name, and make accusations against my brother. Lord, restore me to spread Your love, re wire me to build my brothers up, reconnect my my short circuits that I may be fully available to serve You, Lord. Father, May what flows from my lips today be pleasing and honoring for You. Amen.

DAY 144: Erasing Those Mistakes

We all stumble in many ways. Anyone who is never at fault in what they say is perfect, able to keep their whole body in check.  ~  James 3:2

There isn't a person alive who can qualify as being "perfect".  So, don't be so hard on yourself when mistakes happen.

While we should always strive to be more like Christ every day - we shouldn't allow a mistake to derail us.

Confess your mistake outloud to God - right now. Find a brother you can talk to about this mistake. Then, pick up your stuff and move on. God needs his men in the fight.
