Heavenly Father, thank You for the filling of the Holy Spirit, to help me with understanding Your purpose and will for my life. thank You for the many men who have impacted me to build me up, mold me to Your ways, make me accountable to obedience to You Lord. and the men I am accountable to and with, we sharpen each other, we cover each other's backs, we pray for each other's purity, and righteousness, when we fall short, we lift each other up. my responsibility, is my response to Christ's ability. Father in everything we do and say, May it be pleasing and honoring for You. Amen.

I am thankful for some of my mentors, namely TJ and Andrew. Lord help me continue to seek others who desire you and be an adequate mentor to others according to your will.

DAY 139: Gaining Momentum

You then, my son, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus. And the things you have heard me say in the presence of many witnesses entrust to reliable people who will also be qualified to teach others.
 ~ 2 Timothy 2:1-2

Every Christian begins at step one. We aren't born into the ultimate knowledge and vast experience of Christian living.

Once we agree to follow Christ, it is our responsibility to seek out a qualified mentor, coach, or helper.

If you aren't actively seeking your mentor, your growth will stall. And as you are mentored along the way, make yourself available to help others who are just getting underway.

Has someone mentored you along the way? How has that impacted your growth?
