Heavenly Father, I humbly approach Your throne of everlasting Grace and Mercy. The scriptures are truth, they free me from bondage. they are very difficult to implement into my life. Father fill me with Your love, I am to present to everyone, those who are easy to love, and especially those who are difficult to love. when I am obedient to You, I am free to love anybody. I am here Lord, May I be a tool You use to pry, lift, twist, turn, beat, press, anyone You want to turn away from sin be restored back to You, to love Jesus and what He did for me. Amen. suggestions for reading the scriptures, that I use when I study His word daily. 1. Personalize the Word of God. 2. Is there a lesson to learn? 3. Is there a sin to avoid? 4. Is there a blessing to enjoy. 5. Is there a promise to claim. 6. Is there a new thought to carry with me.

Now I know why I was guided to this sight. My thanks to all my brothers in Christ for guidance. I just visualized a woman and a man who famously degrades all those who follow the Lord. I feel great sadness for their emptiness. . . but I know Jesus is holding them and waiting for them to return the embrace. How can I not Love them. Sincere thanks to all.

Ken, I hear your frustrations. I share them - but have learned to ignore their little words. Turning down their volume is as easy as turning up the volume God’s voice. They can stomp their feet and pout, but that’s about it. God loves them too. 👍

Ken, try looking at those people that you disagree with and that attack you as eternal beings who are lost. For Christ is all and in all, therefore Christ is in those people. The issue becomes that those people cling to the ways of the world and do not accept who they are and therefore worship lesser Gods. If Christ is in them, can you not love the Christ that is there and pray for them to finally realize the truths that we all know. I know this may be hard, but when we set our focus on God instead of the things of this world, loving others and forgiveness become easier.

Sometimes brother, its that love , forgiveness, and not expecting anything in return that helps them to see the pure love of Jesus, and in turn can be loved by him. It’s Jesus using us to prove his love is there in us fo them. They usually have never heard or seen that type of pure love of Christ, and so even though hard for us , it’s the way the lord works. I’ve had that issue too, possibly still hard at times , but it’s the way it’s truly a gift to be used for Gods will not our own. So let’s pray for them all, and ask for any opportunity to show them the truth the way the light, Gods way. Much love brother

What about those who seek to destroy my culture and erase all displays of faith? They mock people like me who have given themselves to Christ. "People who believe they can speak to Jesus and hear him must be mentally ill. " " Those people want to cling to their God and guns," These are very powerful voices. . they have taken over our education system, our media, our entertainment industry and large parts of the internet. I pray for these people that they will open their hearts to Jesus and allow him to touch their soul. . . but respectfully disagree. . I don't love them.

DAY 137: Are You A Loan Shark?

If you love those who love you, what credit is that to you? Even sinners love those who love them. And if you do good to those who are good to you, what credit is that to you? Even sinners do that.  And if you lend to those from whom you expect repayment, what credit is that to you? Even sinners lend to sinners, expecting to be repaid in full.  But love your enemies, do good to them, and lend to them without expecting to get anything back. Then your reward will be great, and you will be children of the Most High, because he is kind to the ungrateful and wicked.  Be merciful, just as your Father is merciful.  ~ Jesus Christ (Luke 6:32-36)

Penetrating words from our teacher, our savior, our Lord.  The standard of excellence is not set on what we can gain, but what we can give.

Are you operating like a "loan shark" with  your love, your mercy, and your forigveness? Do you make others pay the price or earn your trust and mercy?  This isn't the way of Christ.

The challenge we face as men who have agreed to follow Christ is this:  To show mercy, just as we have been shown mercy by our Father.

Stop revisiting the same old scenes to collect your "relationship debts".  Forgive those loans and move on.

Today, pull out your balance sheet of who owes you... pray over it... tear it up... throw it away.  Just as God has done with your debts.  You will find immediate freedom.
