When we work hard we need food to give us energy and to heal our bodies. The Bible is food for our souls. We need to stay in the Word to keep our spirit strong!

Guys, could you please pray for me to get my kids back soon since I have been deprived by my wife of seeing or speaking with them (a boy and a girl) since 2 years. Thanks a lot in advance and may the Lord Jesus Christ bless your families. Your brother Hassan from Lebanon

Yeeees! I needed to read this, this morning. I think God For This app. And for the hard work that Is Put In to it. It is a true blessing for me.

DAY 131: Doing The Work

Go to the ant, you sluggard; consider its ways and be wise! It has no commander, no overseer or ruler, yet it stores its provisions in summer and gathers its food at harvest.  ~ Proverbs 6: 6-8

Men understand the value of work and what it takes to pay the bills. No matter your culture, we exchange work for money.

If we want to grow our faith life, we must also do the work and invest the time in the disciplines of faith.  While we can't "work our way to heaven", we can get off the couch and engage in an active life of faith.

Today, consider how you can commit your efforts to spiritual growth. Decide to get busy practicing your faith through study, worship, accountability, prayer, and service.
