DAY 119: Taking Care of the Family

Here there is no Gentile or Jew, circumcised or uncircumcised, barbarian, Scythian, slave or free, but Christ is all, and is in all.  Therefore, as God’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience. Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you.   ~ Colossians 3:11-13

Even though we worship one God, Christians have launched over 43,000 different styles of organizations to practice our faith.  But remember this, In the words of the poet Maya Angelou..."We are more alike, my friends, than we are unalike."

Today, as you are challenged by the different people around you who choose to act weird to you or have crazy opinions about Jesus - remember God's call to perfect love.

Care for your brothers and sisters in Christ. In doing so - you will light the way to Christ for the onlooking non-believers.
