Lord we learn and are made perfect through our weakness and mistakes. Thank you for your word and it’s accountability. Allow us to seek to live a life obedient to you Father!

Praise the Lord. Reminds me of climbing the ladder of success. You climb and climb only to realize that the ladder was on the wrong wall. happens all the time.

I fail daily to be a true disciple of Jesus , but I try not to live in my failure. I'm not a perfect man but I serve a perfect father.

Heavenly Father, we come to You today to thank You for giving us the feeling it’s worth the effort. As we worship, pray, study your Word, and share Your Word we see that yes, it is worth the effort. Every time we receive a blessing from You, even if we don’t realize it, or share Your story with others and open their eyes, it is worth the effort. To know we will have eternal life with You, it is worth it. Instead of thinking it is worth the effort, let us think we’re blessed to be able to put in the effort. Praying in the name of Jesus. Amen

thank you for this message. I have not been in The Word which has allowed fear, doubt and anxiety to surface. I need discipline. thank you Jesus for never leaving me!

DAY 99: Making The Effort

Endure hardship as discipline; God is treating you as his children. For what children are not disciplined by their father?  If you are not disciplined—and everyone undergoes discipline—then you are not legitimate, not true sons and daughters at all.  ~ Hebrews 12: 7-8

Examine any elite athlete who rises to the top of his field and you will find 10,000 hours of sweat, training, failure, recovery, and discipline.

The lessons we learn in failure is what inches us toward success.  Discipline is what makes us better.

God demands discipline of our commitment to Him.  Failures will come, but discipline is what pulls us through.

Without the disciplines of faith and without God we just seem to sputter and stall. Be disciplined with Study, Worship, Accountability, Prayer, and Service.
