Nighthawk, I hear you clearly. I will be praying with you. There are two parts to address in winning that addiction. Supernatural and natural. Both are necessary. God intervenes early - supernaturally- with confession and repentance. Then the natural work begins by rewiring the amazing machine God built - your mind. If you are super serious, take a look at Adventure Men. We have a 7 Stone Strategy designed to help men break the porn addiction and live free and clean. Praying brother - attack it - you aren’t the victim. 🙏

I need your prayers as I am heavily addicted to porn I have tried many times to overcome it but I am met with failure every time I know Jesus is the only way I will beat it I also know that when 2 or more agree on anything it will be done also a cord of 3 is not easily broken so I am asking for enough brothers in Christ to pray for me that would form a spiritual cable and bring me out of this addiction

All so true. The valleys always seem deeper when in them. How often I’ve looked back and couldn’t see the valley but only God’s deliverance. On the flip side, I’ve learned that valleys are Wake up calls to stop relying on me and start relying on God.

Herb, I feel your pain, Brother. I hope and pray that you reach out to a trusted friend who you can confide in about your struggles. Maybe it’s a Pastor/Priest/Counselor who can help you find your way to a strong, lasting relationship with God through Jesus Christ. Please know that you are not alone in your struggles, Brother. There is God’s light as you climb out of that valley!

Heavenly Father, we humbly approach Your throne of peace and joy. Father we know that we are are nothing with out You, we are only able to continue in sin. Only thru Your grace, we are delivered out of the sinful lives we had been living. On the day we were saved, when we finally realize the price Jesus Christ had to pay for our salvation, we will always have joy in our hearts. Father send the Holy Spirit to dwell deeply in our hearts to give us this joy, it must be nurtured daily, watered by Your wonderful Word, and pray continually that others are brought back into Your flock. Father, may we pray when we reach the peeks of the mountains to praise You, and pray continually when we are in the valleys, that we seek forgiveness and reconciliation. And in our suffering we develop perseverance, building character traits of Jesus, it is in Him we put our hope. Amen.

When I am experiencing a valley, I remind myself of where God has brought me from. Years ago, a pastor told me that in those moments when you truly experienced a move of God in your life, your spirit carries that with you always and since there is no time constraints in the spirit realm, if you begin to remember and thank God for that encounter, you can tap into it all over again. Gives new meaning to scriptures where David had to encourage himself in the Lord! Be blessed brothers!

Praise the Lord. The mustard seed faith says to the mountain move and it moves. I believe the highs and lows are illusions. I know that they seem real but after close reflection my low spots turn out to be the high points of my life.

Glorious God, giver of all, welcome to You today to thank You for always being with us. As we go through life, we are all going to have times in the valley and times on the mountain top. No matter where we are, let us always remember You are right there with us. Give us a grateful heart so that we always praise You no matter what the circumstance. It’s so easy when we are on the mountain top, but let us praise You just as much in the valley. All glory to You Father! Amen

DAY 97: Get Your Mojo Back

Dear friends, if our hearts do not condemn us, we have confidence before God
~ 1 John 3:21

Have you ever felt stuck? Lost your mojo? Has your confidence in life slipped?

We all want to stay on top of the moutain and we all have our days in the valley. The first place to look for your mojo is right inside your heart.

First, If you are guilty of that sin, admit it. Forgiveness is available for those who ask God with a repentant heart.

Next, give up the idea that you are perfect or "better than that".  Listen to God when he tells us that a confident man accepts his valleys and relies on Christ to be perfect for him.

What is your mojo recipe for getting out of the valley?
