Living Father, we humbly come to the throne of grace to thank You for the love You put in our hearts. Let our love be displayed by helping others, and serving You. Let us use our treasure of money to bring joy into others hearts and brighten their day. So many are hurting in this dark world. Allow Your light to shine through us to help others. Praying in the name of Jesus. Amen.

DAY 81: Money and Mercy

For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also. ~ Luke 12:34

When money takes the top spot in a man's heart, love often becomes an instrument used to manipulate others - so he can get more money.

When love takes the top spot in a man's heart, money often becomes an instrument used to bless others - so he can share God's mercy.

Money is not evil. The worship of money is the problem.  When money lands in it's proper place, love and mercy become your treasure.

Be careful that your pursuit of money is a means to bless your life, not curse your life.
