Great word Artemio! So true. We can be full of the Word but useful to no one but ourselves. The entire focus of Christ’s mission was on “others” not himself. We grow when we become nourished AND serve. My prayer is this app community can help guys become nourished and then serve as a catalyst to help guys get up and “go”. 👍😃🙌

I just got home from a Bible study and our teacher, Pastor Carl, said reading the word is like eating, studying the word is digestion and meditating on the word is like absorption of nutrients. If that's all we do, we get fat, all the food we eat and digest goes to nothing, we need to do something to grow, not only read the word, but do the word. Help others in need, be there light that Jesus calls us to be, be the salt. May you find favor in the eyes of the Lord brothers, and God bless you.

Heavenly Father, merciful and gracious. Thank You, for renewing our minds, when we serve each other to honor You Lord, we are no longer kept in slavery, we have freedom in living in obedience to You. Jesus delivers the one time attoning sacrifice for the sins of the world. Jesus is obedient to His death, Jesus is the radiance of God's Glory, exact representation of His being, sustaining all things by His powerful Word. Father soften our unbelieving hearts with acts of service to those who are sinners like me, needing salvation, restoration, and renewing of body and mind. Father put someone in my face who needs Your merciful grace. Amen.

Praise the Lord! together we can accomplish more, pull each other through, and rise above our issues. Brothers, this morning I am thanking God for each of you and praying that we each have the strength to go the distance. Christ commands our obedience, something I know we all struggle with at times. I pray we each heed the call for discipline in His name.

Heavenly Father, we humbly come to You today to thank You for giving us eyes to see and a heart to feel when others need our help. Often we will see our brothers needing help through their struggles. Give us the wisdom and strength to help them, just like we would want help. Empower us to see situations as You would, and take action to assist those in need. Only by Your grace we may not be struggling at this moment. As we are blessed, let us be a blessing to others. Praying in the name of the greatest blessing, Jesus Christ. Amen

DAY 69: How To Be A Game Changer

And we urge you, brothers and sisters, warn those who are idle and disruptive, encourage the disheartened, help the weak, be patient with everyone.
1 Thessalonians 5:14

As we grow in our faith, it isn't enough to sit on the sidelines and wipe our brow. Our teammates are counting on us to stay in game and help them through this muddy life.

No matter how tough your journey might be, commit to leading others along the way. When a brother falls and runs out of energy... grab him and push with him.

Often, the best way to get out of your own trouble is to help someone out of their trouble.
