Precious Lord, Father of All, we come to You, humbly on our knees, to thank You for giving us the opportunity to be Your ambassadors on earth. Let us share our salt with others so they too see the flavor of Your kingdom. Let us share Your love and serve others as we see the need. Simple acts of kindness can mean so much to others. As we go forth today, let us act like Jesus with skin on. Praying in the name that is sweet in my mouth, Jesus Christ. Amen.

Heavenly Father, thank You for making us alive thru Jesus Christ, that while we were in the very darkest depths of our sin, Christ wanted to redeem us, God you gave us to Jesus, to make us obedient, to make us righteous, to live for You, thru Jesus. Father may Your message filter thru me today, whom would you have me serve. Amen.

DAY 65: How To Stay Salty

"You are the salt of the earth. But if the salt loses its saltiness, how can it be made salty again? It is no longer good for anything, except to be thrown out and trampled underfoot."  ~ Matthew 5:13

Once you taste what God has to offer, life without Him is tasteless and bland.  Our role as ambassadors of Jesus Christ is to help others experience the full, rich flavor of life with God.

To be the salt Jesus is talking about in Matthew 5, try this:

  1. Be authentic - be yourself
  2. Speak truth - don't lie or twist the facts
  3. Speak life - build up people, don't tear them down
  4. Serve someone every day in some way

When others want to know why you do what you do... tell them about God's grace in your life.

Has anyone been salt for your faith?
