Looking back just this week God has helped me calm my temper. He has humbled me and I am much healthier and happiest when I am growing eternally.

When you’re color blind and in the Coast Guard, you only have so many choices as to what one can do but I’m thankful for God’s touch on my life. While some may question my thinking as to why I’m in the Coast Guard if I can’t save lives (which is what I wanted to do), God has placed others in my life who have higher authority to take notice of my dedication and my efforts to just be there and do all that I can to the best of my ability, and they are helping me get to where I want to be. My God is bigger than my impairment in seeing color. Last week was a bit of a struggle as more people are starting to realize that I am color blind and can only qualify for 6 rates. They think that “I am a waste of time” however, the Chief, the senior Chief, and the Captain all have taken noticed in my efforts of trying to reach my goals and are all helping me get there. I can only give the credit to the one true King.

Heavenly Father, God of All, we humbly come to You today to thank You for always being faithful. From the moment we were conceived until the breath I just took, You have been there. Always loving, always faithful, always guiding me. At times we may question if You are there, but You told us You will never leave us. Let us feel Your presence and take strength from You. Praying in the name of Jesus. Amen

I seen God's grace move for me when explaining to my wife that half of our tax refund was taken by the government because of my past debt..... but when telling my wife I believed the lord claimed her and no argument came about she looked at it as a positive matter of being dept free!!😃👌👍

Praise the Lord. I'm currently reading 2 samuel chapters 11 and 12 where David makes his mistake with Bathsheba. In two small chapters we witness a man go through a process that even he himself knows is wrong. He is sorrowful but his sorrow doesn't change the consequences. The sword never daparts from his house. I don't think there could have been a more favorable man than David. He accepts the consequences of his action and those consequences never go away for him yet he is still able to continue. There are lingering consequences from some of the things I have done. So as I realize God loves me and wants good things for me I am also aware that when I do things against Him there is the consequence side of God as well. I have fallen in love with this aspect of Him as well. I see God everywhere. Love to the brothers have a great day.

Heavenly Father, good and gracious, creator of the heavens and earth, thank You for showing us a glimpse of Your glory each day with the rising and setting sun. Thank for the answered prayers this week, thank You for giving me the strength to face some fears. Thank you for placing people in my path to serve, Your children. Thank You that I am a child of God. Amen.

DAY 64: God Delivers on His Promises

Lord, you are my God; I will exalt you and praise your name, for in perfect faithfulness you have done wonderful things, things planned long ago.
Isaiah 25:1

Just as Isaiah looked to God and praised Him, we too should remember that God is perfectly faithful.

God has been doing wonderful things in your life since you were a young boy.  Can you see Him in your past?

Look for God along your journey. You can see Him through the love others show you, through His creation, and through your hands as you  serve and take care of others.

Where did you see God in your life last week?
