I've tried many things in my life to bring me happiness. I find most are temporary and sometimes dangerous. I am happiest when I am close to the Lord. He makes me happy, he gives me peace, he makes me a better Husband and Father. Thank you Lord for loving a sinner like me.

it is difficult to flourish right now because I'm in recovery from a chemical dependency addiction. but the bright side is when you get to that Rock Bottom point in your life that's when God does amazing work inside you. once you surrender to him he lives you back up and fills you up better than you ever were in your life that's for the flourishing comes in.

Praise Christ for where He has led me and what He has led me through! Where I grew up you didnt talk about religion or politics. Where I am now, everyone discusses it. I dont have my parents or siblings anywhere near me but I am surrounded by a family that I love and that loves me. My church family, mens group and workplace all are an additional praise even as I struggle to let go of my fears. Praise Christ for who He is and what He continues to do in our lives men of courage and He will bless you!

we become righteousness because of the indwelling of the Holy Spirit sent by Jesus Christ. Jesus is the attoning sacrifice for all of yours and all of my sins. I am only made righteous thru His sacrifice, not by any thing I can do. I want my life to be a living gratitude for what Christ has done for me. I flourish when I live in obedience to God, if my life today can not bring honor to God, then I need to confess my sins and repent, and ask forgiveness from God, start doing my best, doing it again, and again.

Praise the Lord. As I walk with the Lord I grow. It is a consistent pattern of difficult and easy. What I find difficult today will become easy in His care. Each man has a unique path. As for the scripture quote today think about the Lord's house. If His spirit dwells in you are you not in effect the house of the Lords. 1 Corinthians 3 -16 What are you doing in His house? Praise the Lord. Amen Have a great day brothers.

DAY 63: Growing Toward God

The righteous will flourish like a palm tree,  they will grow like a cedar of Lebanon; planted in the house of the Lord, they will flourish in the courts of our God.  ~ Psalm 92: 12-13

To flourish is to grow in a healthy  way because of a favorable environment.

We become righteous through the indwelling of the Holy Spirit and made perfect through Jesus Christ.

When you choose to live inside the boundaries of faith and intentionally focus on being the best you can be for God - you flourish.

Today, turn your focus toward God.  Give Him your gratitude for directing you to good soil and an environment suitable for helping you flourish!

Do you find it difficult or easy to give God thanks for where you are right now?
