Praise the Lord. Today was a good day. I was going to point out that we don't have to have problems to humble ourselves before the Lord. I don't mean to make light of someone's particular situation. I only mean to encourage you in the Lord during the good times too. I love my brothers good night. Amen

Beautiful message of truth. Perspective I needed, when things have felt rough recently. I pray those doors are opening for TJ and Capt. No one can open them like our Heavenly Father

take refuge in the Lord, ask Him to show you the next step to take. and devote your time to seeking and serving Him. He knows your struggles and the outcome of every circumstance, even before we are faced with trials.

Heavenly Father, thank You for the beautiful Words Jesus spoke and recorded for us. Father we desperately need to be "poor in spirit" knowing that I need to empty myself of all lustful desires, self centeredness, bad habits, destructive behavior, and self will, be broken to be rebuilt to be the man You want me to be, to be emptied so that I may be filled with Your grace. So that I focus on You, Yahweh, the sacrifice Jesus made when he laid down His life, to save mine. Amen.

Ever loving Father, we come to You today to thank You for never letting us run dry. Many times we will be down and fill we are completely empty. That is when You step in and fill us with Your grace and blessings. As You said, You will never leave us or forsake us. Give us the courage and strength to accept Your guidance and realize our way just isn’t working. Open our eyes and heart to the glory You want for us. Thank you Jesus! Amen

I was at the end of my rope a year ago. professionally, a failure, weak husband and absent from a lot of time with my kids from being drunk. God is now finishing the good work he started in me years ago. I say this as encouragement to those out there who see no way out. God will be faithful. He knows what he is doing.

Praise the Lord. Let's play a game. That is a powerful verse in so many ways. So here it is and I'll go first and I'll come back this evening to sum it all up. the question is why are you specifically poor in spirit? I was poor in spirit because I committed adultery. That's all there is to it. See you guys later have a wonderful day. Praise the Lord.

Just the message I needed to see today! Currently sick, depressed, and at the bottom...God must be regenerating me by stripping my ego and preparing to fill me with Spirit. Glory be to God!

DAY 62: When There's Nothing Left In the Tank

"Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven."
 - Jesus Christ, recorded in Matthew 5:2

You’re blessed when you’re at the end of your rope. With less of you there is more of God and his rule. - The Message (Matt 5:2)

God has consistently confused the world by taking men at their lowest and using their gifts to accomplish much!

Never fear when you feel unworthy, empty, and out of gas. That's when there is room for God to do His best work in you and through you.

Where are you right now? Need God? Have some fuel to spare for others?
