Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility value others above yourselves, not looking to your own interests but each of you to the interests of the others. ~ Philippians 2: 3-4
It is easy for a relationship to swerve and become hard to handle when we take our eyes away from the needs of others and focus solely on what we want.
Putting others first doesn't mean being a push-over or weak-spined. We are asked to display the strength and resolve to serve our neighbors with humilty, dignity, and care.
Do you find it difficult to put someone else's needs above your wants? That's what Jesus did for you... it's the least you can do for someone you love.
