Everloving God, we come to You today to thank You for knowing right and wrong. Call it our conscious, call it integrity, call it shame or guilt, we know when we are doing wrong. Let us look at everything the way Jesus would. Let Your values guide our every action and thought. Make us aware aware that failure to act, or omission, is wrong also. You give us the guidelines, let us have the courage, strength, and wisdom to do what we know is right. Let us do this for You Father, no one else but You. Praying in the name of Jesus. Amen

guilty. Lol I'm not looking forward to tomorrow's kick start. I'll be guilty of that one too. I accept the correction. Have a great day brothers.

DAY 45: Integrity Takes Effort

"You shall not steal." ~ God  Exodus 20:15

We are challenged to live a life of integrity. While we may not steal cars, jewelry, or flat screen TVs, is it possible we can steal from others and not even realize it?

Allow me to make a confession.  In my past, there were a few times when I stole time from my employer. I was paid a wage for something I willingly chose not to do.  Is that stealing?  It felt that way to me.

If it is stealing, then what separates a thief from an honest man?  Is it the price tag of the "lifted item"?  Or could it be something deeper - like the condition of the heart? Integrity?

As the saying goes, "Integrity is doing the right thing, even when no one is watching."

God requires His people to be guided with integrity.  Have you taken something that didn't belong to you?
