After Ehud came Shamgar son of Anath, who struck down six hundred Philistines with an oxgoad. He too saved Israel. ~ Judges 3:31
Shamgar was just another guy who beat back the enemy for His people. His influence rescued a nation. In exchange of shamgr's efforts, he gets this one mention in the Bible.
In the end, I think we men want to know that our lives mattered. That our time here meant something to someone.
Our legacy is made up of remnants of ourselves left in this world to shape and influence the people who know us and for those who may never know us.
These remnants are made up of our daily actions. How we live through adversity, how we love. Howe we overcome.
We will make mistakes and we will have victories. Through it all, we must point to God no matter the day or circumstance. This is how we make an impact. This is how we become significant.
