I start out every morning giving everything over to God, and giving Him the glory for all things , and then there are times when the attitudes of the rude and disrespectful people at work seem to push the right buttons and I loose sight who is really in control and how much the enemy is trying to destroy and steal my joy.

John Ch 1:10 "He was in the world, and though the world was made through him, the world did not recognize him. 11He came to that which was his own, but his own did not receive him. 12Yet to all who did receive him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God— 13children born not of natural descent, nor of human decision or a husband’s will, but born of God. 14The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the one and only Son, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth" Also John 3:35 "The Father loves the Son and has placed everything in his hands. 36Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life, but whoever rejects the Son will not see life, for God’s wrath remains on them" Roger Fod doesnt want us to struggle just trust and believe. Then live a life that Honors God in everything we do.

Hey Roger, we don’t really get into doctrine here, but we can confidently say that God gave us free will to accept or reject Him.

I struggle with giving up control, yet, in the last two years I have learned that God is ultimently in control.

Question, can one truly reject God, if they are already predestined to hell?

Heavenly Father, we come to You today to thank You for being the constant in our lives. Always there, and always loving us. We hold on to worldly things and resist giving it all to You. We know this is wrong, but an old habit that’s hard to break. Give us the strength to give all to You, and to give all glory to You. In our Hearts, Minds, and Souls. Love You Jesus. Amen.

I hold tight to my finances. I have always struggled with debt. I still struggle. Letting go is hard but it is something I must do.

Wow, amen. I hold tight to my way of doing things. Sometimes not being able to accept help and advice from others. Its hard for me at times because I am a "loner" by nature and have learn since accepting Christ that I need to be open as working in a body of believers. So this is my daily struggle as I learn to allow others into my life, their advice and wisdom. I pray daily to let that go as I welcome in GOD's Spirit.

DAY 313: Humility Builds Strength

Righteousness and justice are the foundation of your throne; love and faithfulness go before you. Blessed are those who have learned to acclaim you, who walk in the light of your presence, Lord.
~ Psalm 89: 14-15

The men who learn how to give God the glory for the smallest moments find it easier to know when blessings are falling like rain.

God is fair to those who follow Him. He is patient with those who come and go.  He is clear about the fate of those who reject Him.

Giving our pride over to God so we can be humble, makes us stronger.  What are you holding tight that needs to be let free?
