Another good reminder to be intentional in positive ways, to encourage one another and build one another up through the grace, mercy and confidence we have in Christ. Lord, bless my Live Bold brothers and give each the strength, vision and courage needed for today!

I needed this reminder. so often I find myself tearing my daughter down for being lazy. She often looks for the easy way out or the easier path toward a goal. I need to rethink how I address this and not just default to her being lazy. If I keep telling her that, that is what she will think

Loving Father, we come to You today to thank You for always having a kind word for us. Many times we deserve harsh words, but You always show us love and grace. As we deal with others today, let us show the love You give us. Let us be slow to anger, and quick to pass on the love You show us. Let all we do be for Your glory. Praying in the name of Jesus. Amen

What a great reminder. I was raised in a family that used humor to tear others down. I have picked up that habit and needed this reminder to have all my words be edifying to the other. Thank You Lord for the strength to do so. Amen.

Glory to GOD in the highest! This reminds me of the saying; "we are either a part of GOD'S construction crew, or the devil's demolition crew!" Definitely want to today on the construction side. Have an awesome day fellas.

AMEN!! amazing kick off to the work week! Today I want to challenge someone to keep this scripture in mind, and when that 1 person who you interact with everyday that gets under your skin more than others today use this and turn your attitude around on them! Instead of showing anger show grace! God bless whoever the Lord uses this on!

DAY 310: The Power of Your Words

Gracious words are a honeycomb, sweet to the soul and healing to the bones.
~ Proverbs 16:24

A telling measure of our commitment to follow Christ is how well we use our words to build others up - and silencing the words that tear people down.

If you want healing deep in your soul - find something encouraging to say about those near you... or say nothing at all.

As followers of Christ, we not only have the responsibility to be gracious - we have the responsibility of teaching others "grace".  We show that through our words and how we speak about others.

Today, find one person and encourage them.
