Glorious and Loving Father, we come to the throne of grace today to thank You for loving us just the way we are right now. No matter what condition we are in, You always forgive and love us as we are. You never change! Love, grace and forgiveness continually flow from You to us. We are always “good enough” for You. Let us forget our past, look forward to what You have planned for us in our future, and keep pressing toward the cross. Praying in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Amen! This is something that I have struggled with my entire life. It helps to remind myself that God calls me His prized possession. His masterpiece. Thank you God for seeing me this way and showing me Your love and forgiveness and grace daily.

DAY 306: Repairing Your Confidence

Dear friends, if our hearts do not condemn us, we have confidence before God.
~ 1 John 3: 21

Do you ever find yourself feeling "not good enough" or comparing yourself to an impossible standard?

Perhaps you've short-circuited God's grace. Here is a simple test to find out:
When you make a mistake and ask God for forgiveness, do you forgive yourself and move on  -- or do you continue to carry it around?

Refusing to forigve yourself is a doorway to shame. It's a dubious tool used by the enemy to make us doubt our hearts.

Men... confidence before God begins in your heart. If you are ready to stand tall again, then accept your imperfections and forgive yourself for the mess-ups and move forward.
