Have been using my network of brothers and we communicate far more than in the past and it is surprising and useful.

Lord, please lead me to godly and holy men. Men that will encourage and stand by my side. Just like a Jonathan to David. I also pray that I will also be a loyal, encouraging, and a true friend. I ask Lord for your protection on him (them), and through your grace and leading, we will discover this friendship. Amen.

Amen!! i have been getting very vulnerable and letting others in and yes it is working out for my good God is so faithful and true he brings the right people just at the right time and I'm thankful for the way he uses me and their lives as well I always thought that I could do it on my own then I found out that I couldn't do it without Jesus and after I found that out I realized that I needed the community and a fellowship

DAY 295: Letting Others Into Your World

Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer.  ~ Romans 12:12

When things are going well, celebrate! When things are crappy, hang in there! In either circumstance - just keep talking to God.

Men have a tendency to close off access to their lives. Being open and vulnerable can often feel like a weakness or seem difficult to manage.

Take notice of the life of Christ, he lived the value of having close friends who celebrated and labored together.  And he prayed at all times.

If you want to get the most out this life, you'll have to let at least a couple of guys in.  Get connected.  Stay faithful in prayer.  It's a much better ride when you do.
