LORD Jesus, thank you for dying and living on our behalf. Knowing that we are free from condemnation.

Loving God, we humbly come to You today to thank You for approving of us. By world standards we may be a lost cause, but You love us as Your children. When we get caught up in worldly standards we get down on ourselves, but we need to focus on pleasing You, our lord and savior. Give us the strength and wisdom to live to Your standards, not the worlds. Praying in the name that overcame the world, Jesus Christ! Amen.

DAY 287: How God Salvages Us

Who then is the one who condemns? No one. Christ Jesus who died—more than that, who was raised to life—is at the right hand of God and is also interceding for us.  ~ Romans 8:34

Never get caught up believing God punishes and casts us away as condemned lives. If that were true, He wouldn't have given His only son to die just so we could live!

Everyone who kneels his heart to Christ has life!  And Christ is steadily pleading our case before the Father to show us as salvaged and repurposed men of God.

So, when you feel like the black sheep, feel that you've gone too far, or spent too many years running the hard roads - remember this: God is in the salvage business, not the condemning business.  Just ask Him to salvage your junk for a new purpose.
