Father God, Lord of All, we come to You today to thank You for giving us a servants heart. Let us go out and be Your Hands and feet and show others Your love. Guide us to those that need to feel Your love in their lives. Let us get out of our comfort zones and share Your love with those that are often overlooked in our society. Let us serve like the greatest servant, Jesus Christ. Amen.

Hallelujah! Me and my wife make it a point to give back as much as possible. We do children's ministry and volunteer helping numorous organizations regularly. Because we have realized that we need to walk the walk, and not just talk the talk. I encourage people to involved as well to get involved with some type of service work in your community. People need to see a sermon and not just hear one.

DAY 282: Making Plans To Serve Others

If anyone has material possessions and sees a brother or sister in need but has no pity on them, how can the love of God be in that person? Dear children, let us not love with words or speech but with actions and in truth.  ~ 1 John 3: 17-18

We gather to study, we gather to worship, we gather to re-fuel.  Then we go to bring aid to a dying world.  We go to offer the hope of Christ through our love and service.

We are at our best when we are the hands and feet of God. We are fulfilling our ultimate call as Christians when are putting ourselves on the line so others can catch a glimpse of God.

How will you demonstrate God's love to someone today? Do you have a plan?
