Lord our Father, I thank you for the prayers of my brothers here. Thank you for this platform and for the knowledge that other men of God, like me, falter and sometimes fail to live in your walk. But we that you O God that You are indeed always with us, that Your forgiveness and love is absolute, that your grace and mercy is infinite. We love you Father because you loved us first. Give us all, we pray, infinite strength to walk Your way. To walk in righteousness with our Creator. Forgive our transgressions my Father, restore each contrite heart and hold us close to you. Thank you Jesus. Amen.

Amen... heavenly father just want to thank you for your grace and for your mercy ..Lord Father thank you for your unfailing love you never give up on us even when we decide to go our own way and do our own thing .we think that our plans are better than yours or that we may be able to carry the weight of this world on our own power instead of you just completely giving up on us Lord father you set us straight and then put us back out there to complete your mission and your purpose instead of our own wants, desires and needs.. living the life that is to serve .. Lord if anybody can say it I know that I can say I'm a professional back slider no it's not something that I'm proud of but at the same token it is my story and I'm just so grateful for your love I'm so thankful for you being that loving caring coach that you have been and for putting me on the bench when I got to hot-tempered or decided that I was going to call all the shots but you didn't give up on me you let me get back in this game of life. Lord father I know today that is only to do your will so I pray for all my brothers out there who may be struggling with backsliding who may be struggling with thinking they can run the show I pray for surrenderance for you I pray that you begin to know the Creator in a newfound way and I pray that God will have grace and mercy upon all of our lives and continue to show us the love and compassion that he does every single day.. in Jesus name amen

Father God, we come to You today to thank You for bringing us back to reality when we wonder off the narrow trail. At times Father, it seems we need to have You slap us around to get our attention. We know it’s all done in love from You, and is in our best interests. Keep us focused on the cross and the prize at the end. Let all we do bring glory to You. Praying in the name of Jesus. Amen

Yes, LORD. I have to be put back into my place every now and then. I can see how GOD sits me do on the sidelines to get me back on track. Not just to rest, however to slow down on running my own plays. Thank you Jesus for those moments.

DAY 279: Playing With Discipline

This is what the Lord says: “Maintain justice and do what is right, for my salvation is close at hand and my righteousness will soon be revealed."   ~ Isaiah 56:1

We take the field of life on God's team surrounded by good coaches. We play the game and strive to be fair.

So when we commit personal fouls, false starts, or step offsides, expect the flag to be thrown.  Remember, God's justice exists to remind us of fair play, not to punish us and remove us from the game.

If the penalty flags keep flying, maybe it's time to call a timeout, regroup, and get back to the game plan.

Play fair, play hard, and play with discipline.
