I play the game solitaire, almost every day. Some games I win and some games I loose. Solitaire is a little like life. Days that I go about it alone, I'll loose every time. Days that I let the Lord play my hand. I win! Even on days where it seemed that I lost I still win.

Amen.. so thankful God did not give up on me and although I ran from him for numerous years.. he patiently waited on me and was always standing there With Arms Wide Open.. I'm so thankful to know his love

A very powerful explanation of how things can get out of whack eventually overtime. Thank God for Jesus Christ and his word which transforms us daily. I must continually be mindful that the only reason I have focus, and the ability to focus is because of what HE has done.

DAY 256: When the Deck Seems Stacked Against You

For a long time Israel was without the true God, without a priest to teach and without the law. But in their distress they turned to the Lord, the God of Israel, and sought him, and he was found by them.  ~ 2 Chronicles 15: 3-4

Stuck in a rut? Feel like that project in front of you has no end?  Is that relationship going in circles?  Lost your purpose?

Israel got that way too. They were caught-up focusing on themselves and soon thought they really didn't need God, or the church.  But when the deck was stacked against them and they had nowhere to turn - they turned back to God.

And God was standing with arms wide open, ready to receive them.

The same solution is there for you.  The same solutin is there for others who are in distress. Hear the news if you need it... be the news if you've done it. Then share it. God is always ready for you.
