Loving God, we come to You today to thank You for Your provision. We worry, we fret, we stew over so many things, and it does us no good. Many times we will make ourselves ill doing it. Empower us to surrender, totally, to You and Your will. You will provide! It may not be everything we think we need, but You will provide. Let us be humble and be glad for what we get. In our Hearts, Minds, and Souls we love You. Amen.

Wow, that is so truly. Can't really remember what I was worried about 5 years ago. And it make sense to see it today from that prospective. Thanks and GOD BLESS!

DAY 251: Why Are You Worried?

Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? Can any one of you by worrying add a single hour to your life?  ~ Matthew 6:26-27

Do you remember in detail what you were worrying about 5 years ago?  Perhaps it wasted a chunk of your valuable time and robbed you of a little joy?

Jesus taught about worry, because it seems to come natural to us. Some worry more than others, but no one can escape it's presence without focusing on something greater.

Whatever your worries or fears may be, you can't allow them to rob you of hope and joy.  Let's tackle them head-on today.

  1. Give God complete control of your situation by confessing and praying
  2. Don't look too far ahead - stay in the day.
  3. Think about a past worry and consider how little changed as a result of your worrying.
