sometimes the most loving action you can do is speak. Just try being a married man who only lets his wife know he love her through actions, most women wont feel loved unless you speak to them as well. We would all do well to remember this when we act as the hands and feet of Jesus.

Glorious Father, every day, every hour, every minute Your non ending love washes over us. As You have loved us, let us love others. While not verbally telling others we love them, let our actions show our love for our neighbors. Let us be your hand and feet Father, and let us see with Your eyes. The world needs everyone of us to show the love we have received from You. Always in our hearts Jesus. Amen.

DAY 245: Because Christ Loved Us, First

If I speak in the tongues of men or of angels, but do not have love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal.  ~ 1 Corinthians 13:1

Some men have difficulty expressing love with their words, while most find it natural to express love by their actions. Be mindful of what your actions are saying.

Are your actions telling the people around you - that you love them?  Are you showing the light of Christ through your hands, your work, or the things you do for them?

Talk is cheap and actions often do speak louder than words. But there does come a time when we must use words to tell others about why we do the things we do. Because Jesus first loved us... we are moved to love and serve.
