Chris, I would say it does sound like a Godly purpose if you are honoring God first with your heart, talent, skills, and work. I can also say that sitting in the corporate world sounds like a Godly purpose if you are honoring God first with your heart, talent, skills, and work. That answer likely isn't helpful for the question you are asking. It comes down to finding your passion, addressing your reality of change, and not allowing fear to make your decision. Which includes fear of something new - or fear of staying where you are. May God be the author of your story and the trailblazer of your way forward. Amen.

Amen all around. I have been search and asking God and praising him for my purpose. One thing to ask this community of believers, does leaving the Corporate World to open a small BBQ shop and providing a place to feed people and give a testimony sound like a Godly purpose?

Glorious God, we humbly come to You to thank You for the sense of purpose You instill in us. Let us fulfill that purpose to bring glory to You and Your ways. You put all of us here for a purpose, and designed us to fulfill that purpose. Let us at least daily one time share Your love with another and partially fulfill our purpose. Praying in the name of Jesus. Amen.

I praise the LORD daily as he reveals my purpose more and more. I do gospel hip hop and it is something I'd do for free no doubt because it is my calling. And I see how I can use it to help so many see the love GOD has for them in this genaration. WWW.lampstandmusic.com

DAY 233: What Is Your Purpose?

Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms.  ~ 1 Peter 4:10

We want our lives to count. Our best work and deepest satisfaction comes when we are doing what God has designed us to do and working for a cause much greater than ourselves - His Kingdom!

Ever wonder what God designed you to do?  Answer these questions and you'll be pointed in the right direction.

  1. What would you do every day without pay? What comes easy?
  2. Who could you benefit the most with what you do?
  3. How would their life change because you helped them?

Answer those 3 questions today, and you will pointed toward your kingdom purpose. Soak it in prayer and ask God to show you where to start.
