Loving Father, we humbly come to You today to thank You for the cloud of witnesses around us, both living and those passed on to Your Glory. Let us be good witnesses to others and show them the glory of Your kingdom. Let us share Your light with those in darkness and show them the way. Empower us to constantly feed ourselves with Your Word. Let us share Your Word with others and increase our love for You. You will never leave us or fail us. Praying in the name of the Light of the world, Jesus Christ! Amen.

This is a foundation to build our relationship with God and to spread His Word to our friends and family. We all have time to do this. Make it a habit to spend time with God,one on one, every day. You will grow stronger in Him as you open your heart to Him. He is waiting to hear from you. Are you ready?

You reap what you so. You reap more than you so. If peace, then peace. If dissension, the dissension.

DAY 230: Finding Peace By Sowing Peace

Sow righteousness for yourselves, reap the fruit of unfailing love, and break up your unplowed ground; for it is time to seek the Lord, until he comes and showers his righteousness on you.  ~ Hosea 10: 12

Christianity is not a solo event. While we search for peace in our own lives and work to get out of the drama, we are also called to be at peace with the people around us.

If we want to be righteous, pointed toward Christ, and making progress in our faith -- then we must sow those seeds into the people nearest us.

Don't sit and wait on the peace to zap you out of the clear blue sky.  Go get your peace by helping others find peace in their lives. Sow it... so you can reap it.

How to seek the Lord?  Keep an appointment with yourself for daily devotion and prayer. Make an appointment with someone else to lead them with a short devotional and pray for them. Use the Live Bold App for your resource... it's why we do this.
