Well I certainly know all to well what that "thing" is in my life... and there is no doubt that accountability really is the answer. ūüĎćūüŹľ

me too. I have no close friends since I moved. my second issue is; do I really want to stop? I know what Scripture says. I know the damage. I know how it changes my thinking. God help me to choose You!

Amen, Steve. Josef, I hear you brother! Start with a small group, pray through it together, allow God to build the relationship and accountability among one another will open up, Keep in mind that accountability is built on trust and commitment. If we miss that, then all we have is confession - which is a great start, but it's not complete.

Lets remember that an accountability partner is there to ask you how youre doing, not to make sure youre doing it right. For ages I wanted my accountability partner to ask the question, rather than being vulnerable and honest when I met with him. Now I openly confess my struggle before we even meet. My accountability partner has seen the deepest darkest part of my flesh, and yet still loves me. Only then will the shame be reduced and we will be able to be open and honest each week. GET OPEN! GET HONEST! GET ACCOUNTABLE! THANK YOU JESUS!

DAY 227: Accountability Is The Answer

Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their labor: If either of them falls down, one can help the other up. But pity anyone who falls and has no one to help them up.  ~ Ecclesiastes 4:9-10

You've likely asked God more than once to help you break loose from that "thing" which keeps you tied up.  It has a name... and you know it well. Don't you?

Most who struggle with their darkness ask God to help over and over, but often accuse Him of being silent. When in fact, He has clearly paved the road for you with clear instruction.  Be accountable to a fellow believer.

Christianity is not a solo practice. If God saw the value of not being alone (Father, Son, Holy Spirit), then shouldn't we see the value in doing faith in tandem with others?

Are you serious about getting unstuck? Do you really want freedom?

Then it's time to put the shame aside, put the pride down. Get accountable today.  Today.  Agreed?
