Bill, the cool thing about being honest and real with God, is that you start seeing things differently. Conviction sounds like a harsh word, but it's what happens when an honest soul examines itself against God's truth - and finds some muddy areas. Just echoing back to you - it sounds like you are in a place where your spirit is in conflict with your flesh. What you do in your marriage bed is between you and your wife. However, when porn is invited into your life, it is certain there will be problems and eventual conflict. If we default to Paul's teaching, if you feel your actions are separating you from God or that you are causing another person to stumble - it's clearly "mud". Pray through this, brother. Pray for your wife's pain and pray with your wife for a clear path forward.

wow, this really spoke to me today. i was having some truble with something in my life and was wondering if its right. as all me here ill share. in the bible it says that the marrage bed cant be defiled..ok, so sometimes my wife and i will watch an adult movie to get things going for us. now ive always understood that this is ok. im still feeling that this is ok...kinda. i mean its between us and it really works for her. we dont really have a sex life to begin. she deals with alot of back pain and is never interested anymore in sex. guys. this is a struggle for me is is right or wrong. after reading this today i get a feeling that something like this is dabbeling in the mud.

Amen.. I remember times of leading a double life things were always so crazy I found a new peace and serenity since I've decided to walk the straight and narrow and dive into the word habitually seeking God's face and his kingdom continually ..he's definitely changed my life for the better and I don't want to live a double life anymore I'm so happy and content with living for the man above and I just pray that I can always stay here in his presence !thank you so much for this reading today it has blessed me in so many ways amen

DAY 225: Getting your Mind Right

Blessed is the one who does not walk in step with the wicked or stand in the way that sinners take or sit in the company of mockers, but whose delight is in the law of the Lord, and who meditates on his law day and night.  ~ Psalm 1: 1-6

You can't have one foot in the mud and one foot in the dry if you want success in your faith and in life.

Frustration comes quickly for the man who wants God's best but can't stop dabbling  with the darkness.

Point your heart and mind toward knowing God.  Get your mind right. Get your goals set. Blessings will follow, decisions will become clear. The clouds at the summit will fade and the path will be easy to see..

Study God's word daily. Worship God's Glory hourly. No perfect people needed, just a desire to move toward God every day.... and stop playing in the mud.
