Dear Heavenly Father, We thank you for this day and the blessings You have given us. Please keep our faith strong as we encounter our daily struggles. May we take joy in knowing that through You, we can do anything. Please help us from wavering. Give us godly companions as a support system through difficult times and trials. Help us meditate on Your Holy Word for guidance and strength. Help us live a life that is pleasing to You so that others can see the work You are doing in each and every one of us. Keep our eyes and hearts on You so that our salt remains flavorful. In the precious name of Jesus, Amen.

Dear Lord Jesus, I pray that you would reach out to Bill and each of us in such a way that are eyes are opened to some men of God who are near us and want to share your love and peace. Amen

Eternal Father, God of All, we come to You today to thank You for keeping us seasoned in the word of God. If we feel ourselves become lukewarm in our faith, empower us to reach out to a brother, and get our saltiness back. Father, also lead us to reach out to our brothers to keep them on track also. Iron sharpens iron, so let us keep each other sharp, and giving the glory to You. Praying in the name of Jesus, Amen.

Help me Father to remain salty for thee. I have no “brother” to share my faith with. Where I live I am a loner. Since the loss of my kids

Yes! May I be a seasoning and preservative to my fellow Brothers, and may I be encouraged by the Salt of my Brothers. As steel sharpeneth steel so may we not lose our Saltiness. Amens

Greetings, We're connected in the Spirit and the light. May we know that grace and peace is with us today and always. Praying that the Brotherhood of Man be seasoned with the salt of Christ Jesus.

DAY 218: Staying Accountable to Your Faith

"Salt is good, but if it loses its saltiness, how can you make it salty again? Have salt among yourselves, and be at peace with each other."  Jesus Christ in Mark 9:50

Has your faith ever felt like a roller coaster?  Sometimes you ride high, sometimes you sink low?  If so, you aren't alone.

Jesus teaches us to hang together to smooth out our ride.  When we begin to lose our focus, stray, or get a little bland with our faith - our brothers pick us up and keep us salty.

All guys belong to some type of small group.  We aren't built to be a lone wolf.  Maybe your group is a few friends fishing, golfing, working, or hanging out at the coffee shop.  Maybe your crew is a few regular buddies who hang out just down the street.

Let's take the next step and agree to keep one another salty with faith.  Get your group together.

No fancy meetings necessary. Keep hanging out - just simply inject God into the conversation. Be intentional about being the best version of a man you can be and challenge each other to do the same.  Feel free to use the Live Bold App as your seasoning.
