Heavenly Father, I humbly approach Your throne of everlasting hope in eternal life with You. Father, thank You don't keep a record of my sins since coming to faith in You thru Jesus Christ, now nor should I. Father may I live in today, meeting the ones ready for harvest, speak to them of the salvation waiting for them, as i have recieved. fill me with the eternal spring of living water, welling up inside, that anyone who drinks this water will never thirst again. Jesus demonstrated God's love for us, no matter how bad our past, we receive unconditional grace and acceptance thru Him who came to save us from sins and ourselves. Amen.

Those who reach the summit of worldly achievement for its own sake are confronted with emptiness. Those who pursue God for His sake are rewarded with ever-new joys forevermore.

Dear Almighty God, Thank you for the gift of today. We thank you for your abundant forgiveness. Forgiveness of our past. Please help us let go of what is behind us, just as you have. Let us not be burdened by what we have done, but let us take joy in today and what we can do with Your help. Please let our fire burn bright for today and what You can do through us in the now. May we shift our hearts from our past failures to our future successes by Your grace. I pray that we strive to reach the prize that You have for us. May our eyes and hearts be focused on You as we press on to the goal. Lift our burden, eliminate our worry, and revitalize our joy so that we might "win" in You. In the sweet name of Jesus, Amen.

DAY 210: Set Your Sights Ahead

One thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.  Philippians 3: 13b-14

Yesterday is history, so don't get caught up in what should have happened. Living in the past, lamenting what could have been can suck the blessing out of today. God has moved you into this moment to reveal Himself anew, let's focus on Him.

While we can recount and tell stories of yesterday, it's time to face the mountain and set our sights on reaching the summit.

Set  your goal, write it down, give it to your brothers, be accountable, lace up your boots, soak your journey in prayer, get up, and get moving.
