Heavenly Father, may my eyes be opened to the mysteries of Your ways today. that when I have troubles and struggles that I am to take joy in the hope in Jesus Christ during these times. Father, may Your glory shine to those who You want to draw closer to You during these times. Father thank You for sending Your perfect and loving Son Jesus Christ, to purchase my freedom from sin, with His blood and sacrifice He had to endure to redeem me, reconcile me to You. I can now live in the freedom and hope of eternal life with You. Amen.

Dear Lord Jesus, we are eternally grateful for our freedom in you, for our country's freedom, and for those who have helped us understand the cost of these freedoms better. Please help us to be grateful and to keep our focus on you so that we don't burden ourselves unnecessarily. You truly are a great and loving Savior and we loveyou Lord. Amen

DAY 185: The Freedom of Christ

"Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.  For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.”
 ~ Matthew 11:28-30

Lighten the load, brother.  Life is a gift!  Today, you just might be the only glimpse of God the people around you will see.   Following God isn't a heavy burden, but a joyful experience.

Show others the freedom of living with Christ as your teacher and God's word as your compass. Living in Christ is ultimate freedom, no matter your situation, place, or troubles.
