you don't have to fight by yourself. Find a scripture and every time you are tempted say that scripture. Fight back.

Glorious God, Loving Father, we come to You today to thank You for being a God of fresh starts. Father, today, right now, let us put a name to our struggle and give it to You. With and through You we can overcome any struggle that is nagging us. Give us the strength and wisdom to give it to You, because on our own we can't do it. Thank You for always being there and always being ready to lift our burdens. Love You so much. In the name of Jesus I pray. Amen.

DAY 184: Overcoming That Habit

It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery.  ~ Galatians 5:1

What is the name of that one thing which owns you?  Anger, lust, pride, greed... ?  It's time to break free from that thing which holds you down.  Put it down and do not  go back to it.

Build a new habit to replace the old one. Ask a brother to keep you accountable.  Give someone permission to check in with you.  You can do this.

Today is the day to start fresh, to overcome, to plan your victory. Name that habit, pray about that habit, conquer that habit
