Overcoming low self esteem for many yrs thought if i do enough id be good enough.. Gods word says in colossians 2:9-15 that i am complete in HIM. whatever skill i lack, where ever im not enough, the name of jesus and the power of the holy ghost living inside of me makes me COMPLETE, not lacking, but ready to serve. Let the righteousness of Jesus shine through you today!

This reminds me of Noah. Was he the most skilled to build the ark? we may never know but he was willing. He stood up and took on that responsibility because God called him to it. God help me to stand up and do what you have called me too. I may not always feel equipped but to equip the called. Use me for your purpose. Amen

Heavenly Father, so many times this past week, I have failed to be an ambassador of love for You. i was wrapped up in my own struggles, and was unable to be a tool for You. Lord forgive me of my sin of selfish pride, may I set these aside and come into Your grace and be a tool You can use instead of a tool with a dead battery. Father, recharge me, make me renewed in Your spirit. put me to use right away. may my life be a reflection of Your love for Your children, and live a life worthy of the work and sacrifice Jesus Christ endured to save me from my sins. Amen.

ūüé∂Make me Your servant, humble a meek. Lord let me lift up those who are weak. And let the prayer of my heart always be. Make me your servant today.ūüé∂ Lord, in this Sunday school song there are so many truths. Your reward for us, when we become servant is immeasurable. Thank you, in Jesus name. Amen

DAY 182: The Right Man for the Job

A generous person will prosper; whoever refreshes others will be refreshed.
~ Proverbs 11:25

We can seek status to determine our worth or we can seek service to present ourselves as worthy.

Jesus gave us the standard of life when He taught us that serving others is the secret sauce to serving ourselves.

Our heart for God gets tested every time we encounter someone who genuinely needs help. Will we respond or will we make an excuse of "no time, no skill, no tools" ?

Sometimes you may feel like the wrong man for the job.  Perhaps if you are the only one in sight,  you are the right guy for the job.

Your hands, your words, your feet, your ability --- are all tools for God's purpose.  Serving others fills our soul and honors God's command for living.
