Kevin, God doesn't get tired of you as long as you love Him.

I feel that God has to be tired of me battling the same things over and over so I quit taking it to him. I know this to be not the case. I don't know if it's the gladiator in me or the fearful child that brings this out!

I am very independent and stubborn. I do things myself. Since I have learned to ask for God's help, life is much easier and fulfilling. God bless.

For the foolishness of God is wiser than human wisdom, and the weakness of God is stronger than human strength. 1 Corinthians 1:25 NIV The more I study God's Word, the more the Holy Spirit dwells deep in my soul, exposing unconfessed sin, my dependence on God, helping me with understanding the things the world does not believe and are blinded to, helping me to see when Satan is distracting me from what is pure and right. Heavenly Father, thank You for the grace and mercy provided fresh and new every day. Amen.

So true right everyone? Seems like the harder I try,or try and use brute strength instead my faith I end up in a worse place. My strength should lay in HIM who strengthens me, and who I shall allow to. The world always seems to offer so much, and answers, but deep down I know it’s not right. I pray for all of us to listen to our Lord instead, who strengthens us. God Bless brothers, have a great day

The greatest challenge I have faced. . and continue to do so, is partnering with the Lord to work through the hurdles of life. Just yesterday I began to search the verses from the Bible that really touch me. Ya. you guessed it Philippians 4:13. When I opened up today's message I smiled. Thank you God.

Amen! Work smarter not harder. Every time In try to fix things in the flesh without the Lord I usually end up sticking the proverbial stick in the spokes and making things much worse then they ever have to be.

DAY 174: The Right Attitude to Overcome

I can do all things through him who gives me strength. ~ Philippians 4:13

Imagine the strength it would take to pull a cargo ship into the dock with just a rope and your grip.  Seem impossible? Perhaps.

Strength doesn't always comes by might and power, the right lever can lift thousands of pounds with only the pressure of one little finger.

So when you need to wrestle that overwhelming obstacle in front of you, don't immediately pick up the rope and go with brute strength.

Slow down. Pray for God's wisdom to help you find a better way, and keep conquering!
