God the Father pour your Holy Spirit upon us as we work for Your Holy Kingdom, give us the words to speak, the attitude of Agape Love knowing that it is You that needs to Shine in and thru us daily.

Summit 1; Day 7: Gotta keep my gaze fixed on Christ, focus on the goal and stop looking back. The past won't be changed, so no sense dwelling on it. Keep advancing!

Blessed Heavenly Father, we come to You today to thank You for every moment You give us. We never know how long we will be on this earth, so let us seize each moment and use it as an opportunity to serve You. What we’ve done in the past is immaterial, we must keep moving forward to the cross. Empower us to stay focused on You as we press on. Praying in the name of Jesus. Amen.

YES!!!!!!!! Let’s jump brothers. Together with the spirit of the Lord, and the help of our fellow brothers to be with for support, to leap in our faith to what the ,lord is asking us. To be the shining beacon of light in a fallen world, and shine to truth in the darkness. It’s our calling. I’m with you all, in prayer and spirit anytime you need. ML@R

We must be able to forgive ourselves as the Lord has. If we don't forgive ourselves and live in regret, is it taking away or saying that our Lords sacrifice didn't cover us or wasn't good enough?? Can forgiveness and regret cohabitate in the same space??

DAY 173: Living In The Moment

Jesus replied, “No one who puts a hand to the plow and looks back is fit for service in the kingdom of God.” ~ Luke 9:62

Jesus said, “No procrastination. No backward looks. You can’t put God’s kingdom off till tomorrow. Seize the day.” ~ Luke 9:62 (The Message)

It is important to remember the past to guard against repeating our mistakes, but it can be deadly to live in the past which can mire your life in regret.

Jesus tells his Disciples (including you and me) that living in the past and refusing to move forward makes us unfit and of no use for God's work here and now.  Man, those are strong, sobering words.

A backwards looking life is another way to describe a guy who is procrastinating and putting off the new beginning he has been hoping to realize.

Listen, you have no guarantee that you will live tomorrow. Whatever you’re going to do, you better do it now.  So get your new start in motion and be an effective man for God's work right here - right now.

You'll never be perfect or 100% ready - just start!  Seize the moment right now.  Jump!
