Hurt people hurt people. End the cycle of hurt and show love and faith.

forgive us our trespasses as WE forgive those... I definitely don't want to forgiven as I forgive. As a Christian I should be a forgiving machine! Definitely a struggle at times!

I believe I have forgiven those who have wronged me in my life. but I feel as if it has wounded me to where I don't trust, accept, or get close to people because of those people. it has been a struggle with relationships and friendships as well as the church. I've taught myself to hate the name "Christian" because of the foolishness of the people who carry that name as well as the ridiculous actions of those people. please keep me in your prayers to pull through.

Summit 1: Day 2 Forgiveness; I never felt so free as when I finally forgave those that wronged or hurt me. The hardest part was giving myself. War and Divorce shook my soul and pride. But who am I to accept God's forgiveness but not be willing to forgive. Thank you Papa for setting me straight!

It is tough but we need to learn to forgiven becuase all of us have fallen short and none of us are perfect not by far we have all sinned and are in need of forgiveness.

when my pride is unwilling to forgive my brothers and sisters, I am openly defying God and His forgiveness of me. if I am looking down at others for a wrong they may have done to me, I am unwilling to look up to God, to seek His favor, His forgiveness, His grace and mercy. resentment that is buried in my heart, can only be removed by God, recognizing my foolish pride, confessing this sin, and complete repentance and humbling myself to live in obedience to Him. today Lord, search my heart for any pride in the deep dark corners of my heart and flush them out, that I may live the life worthy of the sacrifice Christ made for my sins. Amen.

It is tough to move on and let it go. We love to tell others what our friends, co-workers or wife did to us. Even in joking, it is wrong.

DAY 168: Letting It Go

For if you forgive other people when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you.  But if you do not forgive others their sins, your Father will not forgive your sins.  Matthew 6:14-15

Refusing to forgive others keeps us underwater - drowning in our own misery. We suffer while the one who harmed us moves on.

This has to be one of the toughest teachings of Christ.  Forgiving people who wrong us requires an extra measure of strength.  Our pride tells us to hold the grudge - Jesus says to let it go.  Which do you choose to follow... self... or Jesus?

Forgiveness is the core nature of God, and It's God's perfect design for our daily life.

Today, pray for strength to forgive that person who wronged you - let it go.  This may be the very anchor keeping you from joy, happiness, contentment, and success.
