Serving others always wins when we get so focused on our ruts.

How true brothers, we need to think more of Him, and less of ourselves!

I find it can be easy to look to God when things are hard. I can get complacent when things are good. I need to stay working and serving all the time, not just when I need saving from the world.

I love that idea! Instead of being focused on what you want, focus on others. Spread the joyoys love that Christ has given each one of us. Thank you Jesus.

Loving God, we humbly cone to You today to thank You for always being there. At times Father, we act like children on Christmas morning wanting everything "right now". Teach us to realize things are on Your timetable, not ours. As we wait, let us serve others that are waiting. Possibly, our actions may be what they are waiting for. Always in our heart, Jesus. Amen.

DAY 135: Waiting on God, Again.

Humble yourselves, therefore, under God’s mighty hand, that he may lift you up in due time.  ~ 1 Peter 5:6

When the screws are tightening and the pressure is mounting, keep yourself in check.  Stay true to who you are and don't veer away from your steady faith.  Even though the situation you are in may intensify, remain patient.

If it helps, think of patience as a "waiting" game - like a waiter... who waits on others. Try "waiting" on God by serving His people while you expectantly wait for God to show up in due time.... His time.
