I've recently found out my wife has been cheating on me. I'm having a hard time of letting go of my marriage.

Cory, glad you found us. Many guys landed here because they were looking for something. Maybe an answer, maybe a lifeline, maybe a devotional tool, maybe curiosity. Regardless, you are here. Brother, I have stood in your shoes. Actually tried to walk away from God. Turns out, He would not let go. Your words sound like the first half of Ecclesiastes. Almost identical. Read it... it's uncanny how relevant it is for guys who are at the same place you are right now. This will sound a little hokey, but trust me on this. Put all of that energy spent on how you feel... focus it on serving others who are beaten down and cast out. Go hardcore with it. Channel it all. Let me know how that goes. Use the Chat feature and drop me a message. Also... don't worry about starting in Day #1. Jump in. We'll cover it all. Won't miss a thing. 👍

I just started reading this tonight. I downloaded the app without much expectations. I am truly unsure at this point how or why God would forgive me. I have been baptised and have prayed the prayer of forgiveness and yet it seems like I keep doing it all wrong. I am at a point in my life that I'm bored with most everything. My kids, my marriage, and work. I know my struggles and to be honest I am beyond ashamed of them and myself for the things I have done and continue to do. I am unsure why I give in so easy to the temptations that are around me. I feel like no matter what I do it is not enough or I am not enough. It hit me last night that I am unsure why I am here and what's the point to all of this. Work? have kids? get married?.... why though? I am uncertain about things in my life right now and worried about myself. I know I should turn to God and ask of him, but how can I when I give him nothing in return. This is my father and so many times I have turned my back on him and I run from him and his laws for my own selfish acts. I don't really have much else to say for now I guess it's just words at times.

Airborne first and most importantly you are God's creation and created a man. God did not create you to break. The devil will try to break you down every way he can. My friend read 2nd Corinthian 4:7-12. everything that comes our way should be given to God. 2016 was the worst 4 deaths in my family one being the murder of my daughter, 19 years old then my mother in-law 3 of the services I had to minister but through all this is kept my mind on Jesus. I will post more be encouraged Man of God if you allow Him He has your back. Don't murmur or complain let God do what He does. And I was out of work 3 years straight now I'm a police officer.

And hearing is easy lol you just need to listen instead of talking. Gods not a geni ok he's our father and his breath is in us. He doesn't want us to worry and we shouldn't at all and the devil will mess with you when you make a change or stand in our lives aka giving the enemy a black eye. And also thank you for your service ! People say it's hard but it's not he manifests himself by the Holy Spirit sending tingles to your heart or a small voice you just gotta walking by him and his plan will unfold ! Keep your head up brother god has huge blessings and plans for your life and maybe he will use you to help others who are in your situation!

Airborne, I'm praying with you, my friend. When we become empty, we are best able to hear God's voice. It isn't easy. May God's voice whisper through the noise and be delivered through His people all around you. Pray to hear it.

God is awesome as we move into a new year I pray God builds in me healthy habits to continue to get closer to a kingdom mindset. I want to be accountable for how I operate in life and I don't want to be stagnant this year! He is building a new in me!!!

Loving God, we humbly come to You on this New Year's Day longing to follow You. You give us new paths to follow and grow in You. Let us approach the New Year with You in our hearts, and let others see that love. Let us forgive old grudges and free ourselves to be more like You. In our Hearts, in our Minds, and in our Souls. Love You Jesus. Amen.

Day 1: A New Thing

“Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland.  Isaiah 43: 18-19

Let go of the things which hold you down. Release your grip on the grudges which keep you stuck in the same place.  All of those chains are not from God.

Instead, look ahead at the new day. Search for God in every small detail of your life - and you will find Him clearing a pathway for you.

Pray daily, stay accountable, build healthy habits. Take care of your body, mind, and spirit. Protect the asset.
